Ensuring that school leavers have an industry recognized endorsement, provides an opportunity for recognition, for acceptance and a sense of belonging. Using a certification from ISETT SETA, Skills House, a school leaver has been proved to be competent at a tertiary standard and is able to take advantage of this accreditation in further education and training. Completing one of many courses will provide further recognition not only in South Africa, but also on an international basis. If a school leaver then wishes to complete a two-year journey through Europe, they can be guaranteed that their schooling career put them on the right road to be used and paid for skills that are in demand.

Without recognized certification, it is impossible to know if an individual is competent. Accreditation also gives standards to a school IT department that brings legitimacy and recognition from the community and prospective parents ensuring the long term success of the school and learner.
