Cartoons and Comics

This MS PowerPoint integrated curriculum consists of Exercise plans that cover an English project on the use of cartoons and comics in the popular media from South African classroom content, but at the same time covers MS PowerPoint skills that are needed to successfully pass the I.C.E. exams and other internationally recognized qualifications.

Primary Outcome
The Primary Outcome of this module is that the learners demonstrate an awareness of how popular visual media such as superhero comics are used to propagate popular stereotypes and how this can be damaging to both physical and psychological health. The learners must also be able to demonstrate how another popular visual media such as cartoons are used to create social commentary
Secondary Outcome
The learners will be prepared and have the understanding to write an accredited ICE exam on Microsoft PowerPoint or an accredited international examination.
