This module introduces the concept of System Requirements and how this has an impact on the installation of software. The module also shows the learner how to find out if the computer conforms to the system requirements of the software that is to be installed. The module then introduces the various methods that can be used to install software. It also introduces the variety of formats that software packages come in and attempts to cover the differences between the installation from the various formats. The module also briefly covers how to create shortcuts to the installed software as well as how to uninstall the software.
