This module introduces the very difficult skills needed to evaluate web sites and web pages for their content. This module does so from the outset to enable learners to judge whether the information that they are presented with is useful or not. This module does not attempt to teach skills of web site evaluation for purely ascetic reasons but to do so with the goal in mind that the learners must be able to critically look at web sites and pages in order to find useful information. This module is very much an extension of the Advanced Internet Research module. The two modules together furnish the learner with the full range of skills needed to make surfing the Internet for information fruitful and with as little frustration as possible.
