ITSI and the ICDL

The International Computer Driver's Licence is the end-user standard, recognised in European countries, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

The ICDL learning materials that are used by ITSI school partners are integrated into the following learning areas and cover Grades 7 - 12
  • Natural sciences (Geography, Biology)
  • Economic and Management Science (Business Economics)
  • English Language
  • Life Orientation

The above learning areas are covered by project format in these subjects and complete all 7 ICDL modules, i.e.
  1. Basic Concepts of IT
  2. Using a Computer and Managing Files
  3. Word-Processing
  4. Spreadsheets
  5. Databases
  6. Presentation Tools
  7. Information and Communication

  • Shortest possible route to certification
  • Maximum pass rate
  • Learners of differing ICT competencies in the same class
  • Learners who can be self paced, but the materials are not CBT
